Analeigh Suh is leading Korea research at BloombergNEF, covering energy policy, industry, and investment. She develops Korea’s clean energy forecast and delivers insights on the Korean market. Analeigh previously worked in the Korean government, with a focus on global supply chains and their impact on Korean industries. Her role also entailed assessing various trade agreements and their implications for economic security. Analeigh holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, and is currently based in Tokyo, Japan.

Kokona Ota is a BloombergNEF Japan analyst based in Tokyo, covering Japan’s energy transition with focus on the renewables and the corporate PPA market. Prior to BNEF, she worked as an economist at the Bank of Japan. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Keio University, and a Master’s degree in business management from HEC Paris in France.

As GM of the International Alliance Department at Floating Offshore Wind Technology Research Association (FLOWRA), whose members include twenty Japanese utilities and developers supporting the development of floating offshore wind farms, he has been involved in developing an international collaborative atmosphere and environment for the global floating offshore wind sector since April 2024. He was responsible for establishing a global supply chain for offshore wind substructures at Sumitomo Corporation by June 2024, some of the achievements were published in 2024. At Sumitomo Corporation, he has long been involved in technical marketing and sales of tubular products for the oil and gas industry, as well as internal auditing and start-up investment business.

Nobuyuki Takagi graduated from Hitotsubashi University and joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in 2004. More than 10 years’ experience of supply equipment and steel product for Oil & Gas industry.

Seconded to Global Energy Group in Scotland from 2016 to 2020 as Business Development Executive including for Offshore Wind business there.

Established Horizon Ocean Management, Ltd. as joint venture between Mitsui & Co.,Ltd and Hokutaku on 2021 and has been appointed as Managing Director. Based on its unique experience, through several conference and event, have explained case and experience of European offshore wind project, difference between European and Japanese offshore wind industry and challenge and vision of Japanese offshore wind industry.

Immanuel Capano, Chief Commercial Officer at Saitec Offshore Technologies, is a civil engineer with over 20 years infrastructure industry experience and a broad technical, commercial, and operational background. He has extensive international engineering experience in management, and implementation of large infrastructure schemes.

Born in 1952, Hailing from Sakai City, Osaka. Graduated from Osaka University Graduate School (major in Architecture).

Joined the company in 1978. After serving as President and Representative Director in 2013, he was appointed Chairperson and Representative Director in April 2021. Assumed role of Co-Representative of JCLP in October of the same year.

Focused on achieving a carbon-neutral society and developing floating offshore wind energy to fulfill responsibility to future generations. He holds positions such as Executive Member of the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the Japan Construction Occupational Safety and Health Association, and President of the Japan Federation of Construction Contractors. He is actively involved in various initiatives aimed at making the construction industry more attractive and aspirational.

Gunnar Herzig is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of the World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO) a non-profit organisation founded in 2018 to advance offshore wind energy worldwide. Gunnar has 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. From 2009 to 2018 Gunnar held various positions in the renewable energy division of the German energy company RWE focusing on offshore wind. Gunnar holds a degree in International Business Administration from the University of Tuebingen (Germany) and studied as an exchange student at the National University of Singapore (Singapore) and at Harvard University (USA). Gunnar also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cambridge (UK).  

Louise Efthimiou is WFO’s Floating Offshore Wind Manager where she coordinates and supports the fruitful knowledge exchanges of WFO’s Floating Offshore Wind Committee. Over the last five years, the Floating Wind Offshore Committee has grown into a genuinely collaborative forum where participants exchange on the key technology challenges and solutions for commercializing floating offshore wind, lending from various industry experiences mainly in the bottom-fixed wind and oil & gas sectors.

Sayuri Watanabe started working at World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO) as Japan Representative in September 2021.

Prior to this role at WFO, she worked at K2 Management in Hamburg, Germany from 2018. Sayuri worked in Deutsche Bucht OWF Project (Construction/Commissioning) as Contract & Claim Manager, also as Project Manager and Contract Manager for several development and auction phase Offshore Wind Projects in Asia, mainly Japan.

Sayuri started her renewables career in 2013 in Tokyo as Legal and Commercial Manager for developers and WTG manufacture. Before, she worked 7 years in investment banking in a Japanese Commercial Bank. Her offshore wind projects experience is combined with her strong commercial and legal experience in the renewable and finance industry.
